If you've recently arrived in Canada and need to make a refugee claim, there are deadlines that apply quickly. Get legal help as soon as you can.
If your claim has already been heard and refused, you may have the right to appeal. Time limits apply, so don't wait.
If your hearing is coming up and you don't have a lawyer yet, contact me. I'll let you know whether I can help and what the next steps would be.
My experience
I have particular experience with refugee claims from Ethiopia, India and Africa. I've worked with clients who speak many different languages and come from many different backgrounds.
I understand that this is a very stressful time. I'll explain the process clearly and let you know what to expect at each stage.
